R.I.P. Little Fellow
Two days ago I noticed a little house spider crawling on the wall in my room.I’m not really a fan of insects with more than six legs but this one was kind of cute and I didn’t mind having him around. Yesterday I sow him (not sure why my mind suggested it’s “him” and not “her”) on the chair and I even spoke to him for a while (I know what you think right now and want to assure you that it doesn’t happen very often to talk to spiders, but…ah, whatever). Later on, while washing my teeth, I felt something on my neck. Looked in the mirror – it was my little fellow. I put him gently aside and went to bed. This morning I found it flat as a pancake on the bathroom floor. Now, this may sound rather silly, but I felt sad
looking at my new little buddy laying smashed on the floor. Non of my flatmates confessed the crime. I have no choice but to accept that it was a pure accident and that it was quick.

Touching story. It moves me always to tears. There is only one little flaw in it.
Spiders are not insects. Both are in the same phylum (Arthropoda) but they are in different classes – Arachnida and Insecta, respectively. Anyway, this is of no consequence. Fine story!
